Mastermind Behind ISIS Operations in Iraq and Syria Killed by Unknown Drone
An Iraqi source reported the killing of the mastermind behind ISIS terrorist operations in Iraq and Syria during an unknown drone strike.
A security source in Al-Anbar province told webangah News Agency that a senior ISIS leader, along with his deputy, was killed in a drone attack near the Syrian border strip.
The report states that it remains unclear which group carried out the drone strike. The drone targeted the ISIS leader’s vehicle close to the Syrian border.
The Iraqi source added that the deceased was among those moast wanted for mass killings, extensive crimes, and attacks on security sites. His death signals intensifying internal conflicts among terrorists in Syria.
He described this individual as the mastermind behind terrorist attacks in both Syria and Iraq.
