Israeli Fighter Jets Fly Over Southern Syria as Clashes Escalate in As-Suwayda

According to⁣ the english ⁢section ​of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Al-Marsad, Syrian sources reported israeli⁣ warplanes ‌flying⁤ over the village ‍of Ariqah on the western outskirts of as-Suwayda, the town of nuway in northwestern Daraa, and ‍Khan Arnabah near Quneitra.

These sources also noted the launch of incendiary balloons over as-Suwayda province’s skies, causing alarm and panic in‍ southern Syria.

Separately, Syrian sources confirmed that clashes‌ have resumed ⁣in the towns of Ariqah, Rima Hazem, and Shahba within as-Suwayda province.The fighting involved medium-caliber weapons and ⁢mortar shells.

The same sources reported significant damage ‌to Ariqah town with⁢ manny residential homes set ablaze following attacks.

This ⁤comes after earlier reports had announced a ceasefire in as-Suwayda.
