Unknown Assailants Bomb a Major Druze Religious Symbol in Syria
The Syrian Observatory for Human rights reported the destruction of a important religious symbol of the Druze community in Syria by unknown assailants.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that the Shrine of Sheikh Abdullah, located in Beit jen on the outskirts of Damascus, was destroyed in an explosion.
This shrine is considered an important religious symbol for Syria’s Druze community.
In recent days, attacks by militants affiliated with the Jolani regime on Suwayda province adn other Druze-populated areas have resulted in hundreds of casualties and injuries.
After several days of thes assaults, Jolani’s terrorist regime declared a ceasefire in Suwayda; however, reports emerged yesterday indicating a resumption of clashes.
