World Food Programme: One in Three People in Gaza Endures Days Without Food
The United Nations’ World Food Program has reported an unprecedented hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The World Food Programme announced that hunger in Gaza has reached an unprecedented level,with peopel dying due to a lack of aid,according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Palestinian Facts Center.
The international agency noted that one in every three people in Gaza goes days without food.
It called on the international community and all parties involved to facilitate delivering food aid to those suffering from hunger in Gaza.
The World Food Programme also highlighted that Sunday’s shooting at aid workers underscores the dangerous conditions for humanitarian operations in Gaza.
