Trump’s Circle Labels Netanyahu a “Leash” After Syrian Airstrikes

According to six American officials, despite a Washington-brokered ceasefire halting this week’s clashes in Syria, much of late-week discussion inside the White House focused on Netanyahu’s regional policies. “Everyone has become more alert regarding Netanyahu and his regional approach,” one official stated.
However, Axios noted that President Trump has so far refrained from publicly criticizing Netanyahu. It remains unclear whether Trump shares his advisers’ views or harbors similar concerns about Syria as those around him do.
