The U.S. Embassy in Damascus has urged its citizens to leave Syria.
The U.S. Embassy in damascus announced on Sunday that the travel restrictions issued by the U.S. Department of State for American citizens remain in effect, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm.
The embassy emphasized that due to ongoing armed conflicts and escalating violence, the travel ban to Syria continues without change.
It urged American citizens who are able to leave Syria independently to do so, suggesting they cross into Jordan through land borders.
In recent days, intense clashes have erupted in Suwayda province between Druze residents, local tribes, and militants affiliated with the terrorist group led by Jolani.
