U.S. Embassy Warns American Citizens to Leave Syria Immediately

The⁣ U.S. Embassy in damascus announced on‍ Sunday that⁤ the travel restrictions issued by the U.S. ‍Department of State ‍for‍ American citizens remain in effect, according to the English section of webangah News ⁢Agency,⁤ citing Mehr‍ News Agency and Russia Al-Youm.

The embassy emphasized that due to ongoing armed ‍conflicts and escalating‌ violence,⁣ the travel ban ​to Syria continues without change.

It urged American ​citizens ‍who are able ‌to leave Syria independently to​ do so, suggesting they cross into Jordan through land borders.
