Trial of Mossad Operative on Hostage-Taking Charges Begins in Germany
Germany has begun the trial of one of its citizens alongside three Israelis on charges of hostage-taking.
The Hamburg court has opened proceedings against a German woman, owner of the Black House resturant chain, and three Israelis-including a former Mossad agent-accused of hostage-taking, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Maan.
According to the report, the german citizen enlisted help from these three israelis to abduct two children near the Germany-Denmark border in 2023.the Israelis threatened to kill the children if they shouted for help.
If convicted,the defendants face prison sentences of up to 10 years.
