Guterres Condemns Killing of Gaza Civilians Trying to Receive Aid
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Antonio Guterres, the UN secretary-General, stated at a united Nations General Assembly meeting: “Another massacre in Gaza has taken place against people attempting to access UN aid. This is an extremely brutal act. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms.”
Guterres emphasized the deep connections between progress and peace, noting that global conflicts are increasingly making Enduring Development Goals unattainable.
Referring to the recent attack in Gaza targeting individuals seeking UN assistance for their families, he stressed the urgent need to continue efforts toward establishing peace in West Asia.
