Palestinian Official: Hunger and Thirst Ravage Gaza
The spokesperson for Gaza Municipality warned of a lack of drinking water in the enclave alongside the worsening famine.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Gaza Municipality spokesperson announced that along with famine and food shortages, there is no access to drinking water in the enclave.
The spokesperson added that each person in Gaza has less than five liters of water daily for drinking,bathing,and other sanitary needs.
The Palestinian official also noted that current wells supply less than 12 percent of the population’s daily water requirements.
It is important to mention that during its brutal attacks on Gaza,the Israeli regime destroyed most of the enclave’s wells.
