Deadly Flood Toll Rises in Pakistan
Pakistani officials report a rising death toll from deadly floods in the country.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Pakistan’s Geo News, the National Disaster Management Authority announced on Tuesday that fatalities from deadly floods since the start of the monsoon season in late June have reached 221.
the report adds that these floods have also injured 592 people during this period.
In the past 24 hours,at least five people have died due to heavy monsoon rains,with another 10 injured. most victims lost their lives as of building collapses and ground subsidence.
Additionally, reports indicate that 804 residential units have been destroyed so far.
