Israeli Army Chief: War with Iran Is Not Over Yet!

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli military claimed that the war with Iran is not yet over,‍ while acknowledging the army’s setbacks in Gaza ‌and stating that Israel is paying a heavy price in the Gaza battles.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Al-Qahira Al-Ikhbariya, Eyal⁣ Zamir, Chief ⁣of ​Staff of the Israeli military, asserted‍ that the war with Iran⁤ is still ongoing. He emphasized that ⁣the army must operate offensively on multiple fronts and maintain air superiority alongside intensive intelligence efforts.

Zamir admitted,”We are paying a heavy price in the ‍battles in​ Gaza,” describing it as one of their ​most complex conflicts.

The Israeli‌ military official also claimed, “We ‍will continue our operations in Gaza ‍to recover hostages‌ and destroy Hamas.”

It should be noted that on​ June 13, 2025, Israel launched ⁣extensive attacks against Iran, triggering open conflict between both sides. Following America’s entry‌ into this twelve-day war with strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, Tehran responded by attacking‌ Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar hosting US forces.After Iran’s‍ retaliation against US attacks, a ceasefire was established and has​ remained in effect since.
