Death Toll from Israeli Regime Attacks on Gaza Surpasses 59,000
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a statement reporting the latest casualty figures from Israeli military assaults on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The ministry confirmed that as an inevitable result of these attacks from October 7, 2023, to date, 59,106 people have been killed.
It also reported that the total number of wounded Palestinians has reached 142,511 throughout this period.
In the past 24 hours alone, bodies of 77 martyrs were transferred to hospitals, and 376 people were injured, according to the ministry’s statement.
As March 18,2025,during a new wave of attacks on Gaza,8,268 have been killed and 30,470 wounded.
Thousands remain missing under rubble across the Gaza Strip.
The ministry further noted that within aid distribution centers over the last day, 5 people were killed and more than 52 injured, bringing fatalities at these centers to 1,026 martyrs and 6,563 wounded Palestinians overall.
