Spain: Israel’s Gaza Operation Aims Solely to Displace Civilians
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares spoke on Tuesday, urging everyone to end what is happening in Gaza. He said, “The war must stop, and aid must be allowed to enter.”
Albares further stated that Israel is blocking aid from reaching Gaza, calling this action disgraceful.
He added: “Spain will do everything possible along these lines. We have signed a declaration wiht foreign ministers from 24 countries demanding the reopening of crossings for humanitarian assistance to Gaza. The people of Gaza have been deprived of essential supplies for months, and we cannot wait any longer. Israel must instantly permit humanitarian aid into Gaza. It is time for Israel to end this war.”
josé Manuel Albares also emphasized: “israel bears obligation for the situation in Gaza, and my country condemns it; the Israeli regime is aware of our position. Israel’s military actions in Gaza are meaningless and aim only at displacing civilians. We have imposed an arms embargo on Israel and will not allow ships headed there to dock at our ports.”
