Israeli Defense Minister Repeats Baseless Claims About Iran
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera, Israel Katz, Israel’s Defense minister, admitted his regime’s inability to eliminate Iran’s nuclear programme while repeating unfounded accusations against Tehran.
Katz claimed, “We must devise an effective plan to ensure that Iran does not revive its nuclear and missile projects.”
the Israeli minister further reiterated his baseless assertion that “there is a possibility of renewed war with Iran.”
Earlier, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, spoke with China’s CGTN about the 12-day aggression by Israel and the United States against iran. He stated: “This was not a conflict; it was an act of aggression – an unwarranted assault by Israel against the Islamic republic. We had no choice but to defend ourselves. Here on our land,we stood bravely and forced the aggressors to halt their attacks and call for an unconditional ceasefire – wich we accepted.”
He emphasized: “Of course, this ceasefire is fragile for a clear reason: no ceasefire from that regime (the Israeli regime) can be trusted due to its very poor track record. Therefore, we remain fully vigilant and prepared if this ceasefire is broken. But this is not our desire; it never has been. We did not want this war but where ready for it. We do not want this war to continue but once again say: we are fully prepared.”
Avigdor lieberman, former Defense Minister of Israel, previously acknowledged Tehran’s missile capabilities by stating: “What worries me most are their ballistic missiles. You saw what damage 26 missiles caused inside Israel; now imagine if it were 260 missiles-what woudl remain of Israel?”
Active Fronts in Gaza and Yemen Remain a Headache for Israelis
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas in Gaza Strip recently inflicted severe blows on Israeli forces with significant casualties among Israeli soldiers during operations in Gaza. Despite this reality, Israel’s Defense Minister claims his regime is closest than ever to achieving its wartime objectives.
Katz also acknowledged that both fronts in Gaza and Yemen remain active and insisted that these two arenas must be resolved completely.
