Amid Deaths of 21 Children from Hunger, 100 International Organizations Issue Warning

More ⁤than 100 international organizations have warned about the ⁢risk of famine spreading⁢ in the Gaza⁢ Strip.

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ⁤Russia Today, ‍over 100⁢ non-governmental organizations have ⁣raised⁣ alarms about escalating famine and its consequences ⁤in‍ the⁤ Gaza Strip. This warning comes amid⁢ reports that⁤ 21 Palestinian children have died of hunger in‌ the past ‌72⁤ hours.

Among these groups are Doctors Without​ Borders and Amnesty international, which today issued a joint statement urging an ⁢immediate ceasefire ​in Gaza. They called for all land crossings leading to the enclave to be opened ‌promptly to allow humanitarian aid ​delivery.

Yesterday, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights reported ⁤that more than a thousand Palestinians have lost their lives at humanitarian aid distribution centers due to attacks ​by Israeli forces.
