Israeli Analyst: Israeli Commanders Acknowledge Victory in Gaza Is Impossible
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and shihab News Agency, Israeli military analyst Ronen Bergman revealed the chaos within the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Gaza.
Bergman admitted that Israeli military commanders are aware of their confusion in the war and recognize that victory is unattainable. However, political leaders use the army as a tool, then hold it responsible for failure.
He added that after one year and nine months-the longest war in Israel’s history-the IDF has yet to defeat Hamas.
The analyst emphasized that the military commanders know they lack the capacity to occupy Gaza and cannot forcibly free prisoners.
Despite intense Israeli attacks destroying infrastructure, gazans remain resilient. Resistance fighters continue inflicting severe blows daily on occupying forces, while Israeli soldiers deeply fear confronting them directly.
