Qassam Brigades Deliver Deadly Blows to Israeli Forces in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab News Agency, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, stated that on Tuesday fighters successfully targeted a group of seven Israeli soldiers with an anti-personnel bomb at the Al-Mashroo’ intersection east of rafah city in southern Gaza. The attack caused casualties among them. Witnesses reported seeing a helicopter land to evacuate the dead and wounded.
The Qassam Brigades also announced that on Monday their fighters detonated a previously booby-trapped house,targeting 10 Israeli soldiers. The explosion led to the complete collapse of the building in Al-Mashroo’ area east of Rafah, injuring 10 soldiers.
In another statement, the brigades said that on July 17, 2025, thay detonated two anti-personnel bombs near Deir Yassin intersection in the Al-Jenina neighborhood east of Rafah. This assault resulted in casualties among eight members of the israeli army engineering unit.
Additionally, on July 15, 2025, Qassam fighters ambushed a group of Israeli soldiers. According to their separate statement, these forces were trapped inside a house in Shoka municipality area east of Rafah when an explosive device was triggered upon their entry. Several occupiers were killed and others wounded consequently.
