Vitkof: Hamas Unwilling to Reach Agreement; Exploring Other Options

US Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs claims Hamas is unwilling to reach a ceasefire agreement ⁣and is currently exploring option ⁣options for‍ the return of hostages.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al ⁢Jazeera,⁣ steve ‍Witkoff, the US Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, stated: “Following ‍Hamas’s response that indicates their unwillingness to agree on a gaza deal, we have decided to withdraw our‍ team from Doha.”

Without⁣ mentioning Israeli regime crimes against civilians in Gaza,witkoff alleged⁢ that despite meaningful mediator efforts,Hamas appears disorganized ⁢and lacking good faith.

The American official also claimed they are now‍ examining alternative options to secure the release of hostages and strive toward creating a ‌more stable habitat for Gaza’s residents.

he described ⁣hamas’s rejection of the proposed ceasefire ‌in Gaza-which represents the movement’s effort to protect Palestinian national interests-as “selfish.”

Witkoff further ‍asserted: “We remain steadfast to end this conflict⁢ and achieve ⁢lasting peace in Gaza.”
