Netanyahu Withdraws Israeli Negotiation Team from Doha

The office of the Israeli Prime ​Minister announced that the ‍regime’s ⁢negotiating team is returning from Doha to⁣ Tel Aviv⁣ for further consultations regarding the negotiation process.

According ⁢to the English section of ​ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik⁣ News, the office of Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, stated in a release that following a response ⁣from Hamas this morning,​ it ‌was decided that the negotiation ⁤team would return to Israel for additional consultations.

The statement ‍praised the role of regional and international⁤ mediators in ‌advancing negotiations, while ‌overlooking Israeli actions in Gaza. It read: “The Prime Minister’s office appreciates the efforts of two mediating ​countries,⁣ Qatar and Egypt, and also those of Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special‌ envoy, ⁤for their contributions toward progress⁤ in talks.”

This progress⁤ comes amid ongoing trilateral-mediated negotiations in Doha aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement‍ and arranging a‌ prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas.
