US Congress Member Calls for Halt to Bomb Shipments to Israel
according to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,many Western officials have strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing blockade and atrocities in Gaza. They are calling for an immediate end to the siege and what they describe as a genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In this context, Sarah Jacobs, a Democratic member of the U.S. Congress, expressed deep outrage over the situation in Gaza. She sharply criticized the Israeli military’s obstruction of aid deliveries and dismissed the so-called ”Gaza Humanitarian Institute” as a facade.
Jacobs demanded an immediate stop to U.S. bomb shipments to Israel and called for ending the blockade of Gaza without delay.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, another U.S. Congresswoman, also warned about the severe humanitarian crisis and urged an immediate halt to what she described as genocide in Gaza.
She added that one out of every five children in Gaza suffers from forced starvation.
the chairperson of the UK Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee also spoke with Al Jazeera, demanding a halt to Israeli actions against Palestinians and calling for immediate facilitation of humanitarian aid deliveries. He described shootings at starving Palestinians waiting for assistance as horrifying.
Meanwhile, Canada’s Prime Minister criticized Israel’s failure to prevent this humanitarian disaster. He called for full transfer of aid distribution management to humanitarian organizations and stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire alongside progress toward a two-state solution.
The Canadian Foreign Minister warned that conditions in Gaza are worsening daily, with women and children suffering from extreme hunger.
It should be noted that Israel has blocked crossings preventing humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza residents. This has led to severe famine within Gazan territory where many-including women, children, and elderly-are dying due to critical food shortages.
