Qatar Condemns Macron’s Decision to Recognize the State of Palestine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al-Mayadeen, Qatar responded to the French president’s decision regarding Palestine.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: We welcome President Macron’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
The ministry added: France’s commitment to recognizing Palestine provides crucial support for the Palestinian people in attaining their legitimate rights. This reflects a global agreement aimed at ending Israeli occupation.
Following Emmanuel Macron’s announcement about France’s intention to recognize Palestine, many countries-especially in the West-have welcomed the move. However, onyl the United States and Israel have expressed anger over this decision.
