Erdogan to Consult with Trump and Putin in Coming Days

according ⁣to teh English section of‌ webangah​ News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ‍and​ Al Jazeera, turkish⁣ President‍ Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on Friday that he may ⁤hold consultations in the coming days with U.S. President Donald Trump ‌and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Erdoğan said these‌ talks aim to ⁤explore the possibility of arranging a summit ‍in Istanbul involving‍ them to discuss ‍the war in Ukraine.

The Kremlin on Friday rejected ‌Kyiv’s proposal ⁢for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky⁤ and Vladimir⁣ Putin before the end of August,deeming⁣ it unfeasible.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Friday that no plans currently ​exist for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky. He added such a summit could only ‌take place as⁤ a final step toward signing a peace ​agreement.
