Georges Abdallah: Resistance Must Intensify
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Mayadeen, Lebanese activist and steadfast supporter of the Palestinian cause, George Ibrahim Abdallah, was freed after 41 years in French prisons.He arrived moments ago at Beirut International Airport.
Speaking to his welcoming crowd, he said: “Resistance in Palestine must be ignited. It is indeed shameful that arab countries stand by while Palestinians and Gaza residents suffer.”
The lebanese fighter added: “We will forever bow our heads before the martyrs of resistance-they are the foundation of every liberating ideology.”
Abdallah emphasized: “It is indeed a disgrace for Arab countries to remain mere spectators. All must unite around resistance. Egyptians can change Gaza’s situation. As long as resistance exists, so does the hope for return.”
Meanwhile, ibrahim Mousawi, Hezbollah’s representative in the Lebanese parliament, told George Abdallah: “You are a symbol of resistance, steadfastness, perseverance, honor, and independence.”
