Europe Tells Tel Aviv: Israel’s Actions Are Indefensible
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany released a joint statement hours ago emphasizing that it is time to end the war in Gaza. The humanitarian catastrophe in the region must stop.
The statement reads: “We strongly oppose Israel’s efforts to take control of occupied Palestinian territories. Tel Aviv must comply wiht its obligations under international law. we call on Tel Aviv to promptly allow the United Nations and non-governmental organizations to perform their duties in Gaza.”
It continues: “We are ready to take further actions to support an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The escalation of Israeli military attacks on Gaza is disproportionate and indefensible.”
This comes while France, germany, and the UK remain key political and arms supporters of Israel during its offensive against the Gaza Strip.
