Armed Attacks in Nigeria Leave 15 Dead
Fifteen people have died in armed attacks in Nigeria’s Plateau state.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency, two separate armed attacks by unidentified assailants in Plateau State resulted in 14 deaths.
One police officer was also killed, and many others were injured during the incidents.
Tensions and armed clashes between farming and herding communities have escalated in Plateau State over recent months.
In another attack on July 16, 27 farmers were killed.
