Israeli Minister of Internal Security Expresses Strong Anger at Netanyahu
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Israeli parliament members decided during phone consultations to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza today. However, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir were not involved in this decision.
Following the decision, Netanyahu’s office contacted Ben-Gvir to inform him. The minister responded with strong anger.
Officials from Netanyahu’s office stated they refrained from calling on saturday out of respect for the Sabbath, but Ben-Gvir insisted angrily that he is available every day because he serves as the Internal Security Minister.
Yesterday, the Israeli military claimed preparations were underway to implement a humanitarian plan in densely populated areas of Gaza. They added that safe routes have been designated for UN convoys and relief organizations to deliver food and medicine into Gaza.
