The Times: British Public Shows Growing Solidarity with Palestinians
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian information Centre, The times has published a new report highlighting the results of a recent survey. The findings reveal that public opinion in England has notably shifted in support of Palestinians regarding the ongoing conflict.
The survey indicates that 29 percent of English respondents express greater empathy toward palestinians, while only 15 percent voiced support for the Israeli regime.
Regarding Israel’s military actions in Gaza, 48 percent of those surveyed consider the response disproportionate, compared to just 28 percent who see it as proportionate. Additionally, 41 percent believe the UK government should prohibit any arms exports to Israel.
