Israeli Official Warns of Growing Disgust with Regime in the West

Adviser ‌to the Israeli regime’s communications warns ‍of the regime’s deteriorating international image and states that Israelis will pay the price for increasing isolation due to the ongoing war in Gaza.

According to the English section of ⁣ webangah news Agency, citing⁣ Mehr News Agency ‍and Al-Mayadeen, Barak Sarai, a senior communications adviser to the Israeli regime, has warned about the worsening reputation of Israel on the international stage. He pointed to growing isolation, potential sanctions, and an expanding opposed atmosphere-even among its customary allies-caused by the continued war in Gaza and extremist domestic political discourse.

The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Sarai posted on his X account about receiving a call from a pro-Israel friend living in the United States. The‌ friend warned him of a fundamental⁤ shift in public opinion toward Israel, saying: “Israel’s best friends now see it as a gang of monsters.”

Sarai explained that his American business partners have expressed increasing alienation and disgust‌ toward Israel.

He added that “the situation is worse in Europe,” where widespread criticism over war crimes is fueling growing sanction movements and rapidly eroding what ‌he called “Israel’s legitimacy” at both popular and institutional levels. He described these circumstances as part of a “complete political collapse.”

Sarai cautioned that‌ Israelis will face heavy consequences from this environment, including travel restrictions or targeting cultural, scientific, and athletic ⁢delegations through sanctions.

He believes this collapse stems not only from war but also from statements by government officials-notably Foreign Minister Amichai‌ Eliyahu-and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s inability to manage these challenges effectively.

Sarai also criticized Foreign⁣ Minister Gideon Sa’ar‌ for focusing⁣ on flattery,‌ publicity stunts, and⁣ electoral activities instead of addressing foreign policy challenges.

His comments reflect ⁣a series of recent warnings from diplomats, ‍journalists, and former Israeli officials expressing concern over Israel’s escalating international isolation amid ongoing conflict in Gaza and intensifying humanitarian violations.
