North Korean Leader Vows Victory in Anti-Imperialist American Struggle

North Korean leader emphasized ⁤that ⁣the country will be the ultimate victor in the “anti-imperialist and ‍anti-American” war.

According to the English service of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea, pledged ahead of the seventieth anniversary of the Korean War armistice ⁣that⁢ Pyongyang will emerge victorious in its war against imperialism ⁢and the United States.

The North Korean Central News Agency ⁢reported that Kim ⁢stressed,”Our country and people ⁤will⁢ surely achieve the grand goal of building a wealthy nation with a⁤ powerful military.‌ In this anti-imperialist and anti-American confrontation,we will win triumphantly.”

North ⁢Korea signed⁤ an armistice ⁣agreement on July 27, 1953, with the‌ United States and China, ⁤ending a three-year conflict. The signing generals for the U.S. represented United Nations forces supporting South Korea.

While North Korea⁣ marks July 27 as⁢ “Victory Day,” South‍ Korea does not hold any ceremonies to commemorate this date.
