Erdogan and Macron Consult on Gaza Developments
turkey’s President praised his French counterpart’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine during a phone conversation.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia News Agency via Mehr News Agency, turkey’s Presidential Communications Center announced that Presidents recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Emmanuel Macron discussed the latest developments in Gaza and the region during a phone call.
In the conversation,Erdoğan commended and congratulated macron on his decision to recognize the State of Palestine,calling it an important step.
Erdoğan added that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is worsening and urged the international community to take immediate action to find a solution.
The Turkish president further emphasized that tensions between Israel and Palestine must come to an end.
