American Media: Red Sea Becomes Stage for Yemeni Power Display
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Yemen’s Al-Masirah network, the American newspaper New York Sun reported: After months of Yemen’s declaration of war against Israel and its allies, the Red Sea has become a testing ground for advanced military operations.
The newspaper added that the US air campaign to contain Yemeni military power has not been effective; rather, it has emboldened them further.
The report continued: What worries US intelligence and naval officials most is the increasing complexity of Yemeni attacks.
The American media outlet quoted military experts stating that Yemeni strikes reflect a strategic shift in capabilities and objectives-one that raises growing concerns among the United States, Israel, and their allies.
New York Sun cited a former British ambassador to Yemen who said: “Deterring Yemenis is not easy; they stand firm and appear invincible.”
The newspaper also quoted the Middle East program director at Defense Priorities warning that the real solution to the Red Sea crisis lies in pressuring Israel to stop its war in gaza rather than continuing attacks.
