Tel Aviv’s Plan Against Palestinian Refugees in Rafah Comes to a Halt

According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News ⁣Agency via ⁢Shahab,a senior security official told Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that the plan to transfer hundreds ‌of​ thousands of Palestinian refugees to Rafah and⁢ prepare for ‍their expulsion ‍from the⁤ Gaza Strip ⁣has been stopped.

The official added that there is ⁢currently no decision to implement⁣ this ⁤plan, nor has ‌any alternative proposal been​ presented.

Earlier,‌ Israeli authorities had intended through this scheme to confine hundreds of thousands of Palestinian‍ refugees in Rafah-a location largely reduced to ruins-and later expel them from‌ Gaza.

Tel Aviv had described this sinister plan under the guise of establishing a “humanitarian city” in Rafah.
