Mass Shooting at Bangkok Market Leaves 4 Security Forces Dead
Thai police report at least four fatalities in a mass shooting in the country’s capital.
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and France 24, a mass shooting in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, left at least four security officers dead.
The police stated that the incident took place at a well-known fresh food market. One person was also injured during the attack.
Thai authorities are investigating the motive behind the shooting. Waropat Suktai, Deputy Chief of Police for Bangkok’s Bang Sue district, said that the suspect committed suicide promptly after the assault.
Officials are working to identify the suspect and any potential connections to recent border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia.
