Barzani Holds Key Talks with Iranian Delegation
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shafaq News via Mehr News agency, Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq, met today, Monday, with the governor of West Azerbaijan Province.
Masoud Barzani hosted an Iranian delegation in Erbil headed by Reza Rahmani, governor of West Azerbaijan Province in Iran.
During the meeting, Rahmani expressed appreciation to the Kurdistan Regional Government for facilitating extensive support for Arbaeen pilgrims entering Iraq through the Haji Omran border crossing.
Barzani and Rahmani emphasized the longstanding friendship and strong ties between the Kurdistan Region and the islamic Republic of Iran. They also highlighted their commitment to strengthening economic relations and revitalizing trade between both sides.
