French Foreign Minister: Israel’s Actions Fuel the Spread of Terrorism
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Jean-Noël Barrot, France’s Foreign Minister, condemned Israel’s actions. He said Israel’s approach fuels and spreads terrorism.
he also warned about the actions of extremist Israeli settlers, stating thay deny the Palestinian right to exist. By spreading hatred,they are pushing the region toward complete instability.
barrot described the situation in Gaza as “out of control” and called for urgent attention to address this crisis.
A few hours earlier at a conference titled “Two-State Solution” in New York, without directly condemning ongoing crimes by Israeli occupiers against Gaza’s oppressed people, he said: “We managed to bring together 125 countries, 50 of which were represented by their foreign ministers.”
The French Foreign minister added: “The situation in Gaza is beyond imagination.After this conference,we will adopt a shared vision for Gaza’s future. The United Nations meeting is a decisive step toward implementing the so-called two-state solution. One goal is securing commitments from European countries that have expressed intent to recognize palestine.”
The international conference on the two-state solution regarding Palestine began today Monday at UN headquarters in New York under joint chairmanship from France and Saudi Arabia and will continue over two days.
This conference is held at foreign minister level; its second session will take place wiht heads of state during UN General Assembly meetings in New York or Paris during late September. Originally scheduled between June 17-20, it was postponed due to Israeli aggression against Iran.
