Saudi Foreign Minister: Israel Must Not Dictate Its Actions by Force

He added, “Lasting peace will be realized onyl when the Palestinian people are economically empowered, develop fully, and thier fundamental rights are recognized.”
Earlier today at the international conference on the Two-State Solution,bin Farhan stated that Saudi Arabia and France are persistent to turn the international agreement on this approach into a tangible reality. ”We fully support Qatar’s, Egypt’s, and America’s efforts to restore a ceasefire in Gaza,” he affirmed.
The Saudi foreign minister further declared opposition to any effort aiming to separate Gaza from Palestinian territories or displace its residents. He stressed that normalization of relations with Israel depends on establishing an independent Palestinian state. “As long as war continues in Gaza, there will be no normalization,” he said. riyadh also expressed gratitude for French President Emmanuel Macron’s stance advocating recognition of an independent Palestine. many countries desire such recognition but await an appropriate moment.
The international two-State Solution conference co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia officially opened today at United Nations headquarters in New York and will run for two days.
The meeting involves foreign ministers initially; a second round featuring heads of state is planned during either the UN General Assembly sessions in New York or in Paris during the last week of September. The conference was originally scheduled for june 17-20 but was postponed due to aggressive acts by Zionist occupiers against Iran.
