Dozens More Ships Head Toward the Gaza Strip
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that Zaher Birawi, head of the International committee to Break the Siege on Gaza and one of the founders of the Freedom Flotilla, told Al-quds Al-Arabi that small boats affiliated with this flotilla have sparked a deep impact on public conscience. Various international organizations have expressed their readiness to cooperate with this flotilla.
Birawi added that in upcoming months, dozens more ships will head toward Gaza. He described Israel’s attack on the ship Hanzala as an act of maritime piracy. This comes while countries such as the United States and European nations continue supporting Tel Aviv.
He also stated that some countries like France are committing multifaceted crimes by together backing Tel Aviv and witnessing their citizens being detained aboard Hanzala by Israeli military forces.
Birawi emphasized that attacking this ship from a distance off Gaza’s coast illustrates how fearful Israeli forces are of thes symbolic actions.
