40 US Senators Address Rubio and Whitaker in Letter Focusing on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, on Tuesday, 40 Democratic senators sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House West Asia envoy Steve Witkoff. Without condemning ongoing crimes by the Israeli regime, they asserted that prioritizing efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza is essential.They called for resuming negotiations in good faith as soon as possible.
The letter from these 40 Democratic senators makes no mention of the origins of significant obstacles blocking aid delivery to Gaza’s suffering population. It adds that despite some aid entering Gaza, the situation remains catastrophic. The humanitarian infrastructure has failed to manage this crisis.
