Pakistan: Palestinians Have Suffered from Occupation and Displacement for Over 75 Years
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera, Al-Akhbar Al-Youm, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar affirmed his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders during the Two-State Solution conference held today Tuesday in New york. He called for an unconditional and permanent ceasefire across Gaza Strip and all occupied Palestinian territories.
The Pakistani foreign minister said, “The Palestinian people have endured more than 75 years of occupation, displacement, and deprivation of their basic rights.”
Ishaq Dar described the current situation in gaza as catastrophic. He condemned the killing of over 58,000 Palestinians as a clear violation of international humanitarian law, United nations resolutions, and rulings by the International Court of Justice.
He also urged that humanitarian aid-especially food supplies and essential medicines-be delivered to Gaza without restrictions.
