Brazil Sanctions Israel Over Gaza Genocide

According to the English⁤ section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen via ​Mehr News Agency, Brazil’s Foreign Minister​ Mauro Vieira ⁣announced on Monday night that his country has‍ decided to impose sanctions against Israel.

He stated that this⁣ decision​ responds ‍to the Israeli‌ regime’s genocide⁤ in​ the Gaza ​Strip.

Vieira explained that part of these ⁣measures includes suspending⁢ Brazil’s ​export of military ⁤equipment to ‌Israel.

The Brazilian foreign minister ​emphasized, “We officially support South Africa’s lawsuit against Israel for genocide at the International Court of Justice.”

He also added​ that Brazil will implement ⁤stringent mechanisms to monitor and⁢ review imports originating from Israeli illegal settlements ⁣in the West Bank.
