Final Statement of Two-State Summit Reaches Agreement for Immediate End to Gaza War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al Mayadeen reported thay obtained a copy of the final statement from the United Nations meeting on a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue and implementing the two-state solution.
The statement reads: “We,the leaders and representatives gathered at the United Nations,have agreed to take collective action to end the war in Gaza.”
The meeting aimed to advance the peace process and emphasized the necessity of implementing the two-state solution.
The international conference titled “Two-State Solution for Palestine,” co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, officially began on Monday at United Nations headquarters in New York. It will continue for two days.
This ministerial-level conference will be followed by a second round at heads-of-state level during either this year’s UN General Assembly sessions in New york or in Paris during late September.
Originally scheduled for June 17-20 (27-29 Khordad),this conference was postponed due to attacks by Zionist occupiers against Iran.
