Justice Rally for Gaza Echoes at New York’s Heart
A report from the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah Network, stated that a group of protesters gathered outside the United Nations headquarters in new York. They chanted slogans demanding an immediate end to Gaza’s starvation, calling to “Stop famine in Gaza.”
This protest coincided with a report published Monday, July 27, by London-based weekly The Economist. The report revealed that fatalities at food distribution centers in Gaza more than eightfold increased during June compared to May.
The sharp rise in deaths occurred alongside the launch of the newly established Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a U.S.-supported entity tasked with managing aid distribution.
The Economist added that at least 800 Palestinians died trying to access food across Gaza during June.
Satellite images and maps disclosed by The Economist indicated that obtaining humanitarian aid has become a deadly challenge for Gazans.
