China: Humanitarian Situation in Gaza Has Never Been This Dire
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Xinhua, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Liu Jian, announced today, Wednesday, that China is closely monitoring the current situation in Gaza and opposes any escalation of Israeli military operations in the region.
The spokesperson added: “We are deeply concerned about the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. Twenty-one months have passed as the conflict (the Zionist occupiers’ aggression against the oppressed people of Gaza), and the humanitarian situation ther has never been so dire.”
Liu Jian further urged Israel to immediately halt its military operations in Gaza, lift the blockade and occupation, restore full access for humanitarian aid, and prevent a wider-scale humanitarian crisis.
