Construction Sector Crisis in Israeli Regime Following Yemen Attacks
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Al Masirah TV network reported from the Israeli economic newspaper Calcalist that the crisis in the occupied territories’ construction sector has substantially deepened. The report attributes this crisis primarily to labor shortages and delays in sourcing raw materials-direct consequences of Yemeni forces’ maritime attacks.
The Israeli newspaper quoted data from the Central bureau of Statistics stating that in the frist quarter of 2025, building permit issuance dropped by 35 percent. Additionally, units under construction declined by 12 percent, while completed apartments fell by 21.5 percent.
Economic experts within the occupied territories have warned that if this trend continues, it will pose a serious threat to both the housing market and Israel’s economy.
