German Foreign Minister Travels to Occupied Territories and West Bank
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Deutsche Welle, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul will visit the Occupied Palestinian Territories on Thursday.
He is set to meet with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa’ar, in Tel Aviv.
The following day, he will hold talks in Jerusalem with United Nations representatives and meet officials of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.
the discussions are expected to focus on the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip and efforts to end the ongoing conflict.
Germany is among the countries that have officially confirmed supplying military equipment to Israeli forces.
Simultaneously occurring, Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy for Regional Affairs, is also planning a trip today to the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
