Former U.S. Official: Tel Aviv Has Become Isolated on the Global Stage
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Jake Sullivan, former U.S. National Security Advisor, stated that it is time to end the war in Gaza. He emphasized that this conflict does not bring security to Israel but rather deepens its international isolation and worsens the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Sullivan added that Tel Aviv should propose an exchange involving the return of all Israeli captives in return for ending the war in Gaza. He argued that prolonging this conflict is unjustifiable.
Sullivan stressed: Israeli authorities are pursuing a seemingly endless war with limited military gains amid a growing humanitarian crisis and civilian casualties. Israel’s international isolation has intensified as a result.
At the same time, he claimed that Tel Aviv has the capacity to disarm Hamas.
