Tensions Escalate Between Zammir and Netanyahu
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency via Ma’an, the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv reported that the Israeli military is dissatisfied with the behavior of political circles within the regime. A military source emphasized, “We do not know what they want. Our operations in Gaza have ended, and we told political authorities it is their turn.”
A military official also stated that the Israeli army has revised its stance regarding an agreement with Hamas and now seeks a comprehensive deal. The army has warned political leaders about the consequences of prolonging war in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Eyal Zamir, chief of Staff of the Israeli military, is attempting to present his plans to the cabinet; however, Benjamin Netanyahu opposes holding meetings or reviewing these proposals.
