Netanyahu Beats the Drum of War

the Prime Minister ‍of ‌the Israeli regime insists on continuing the Gaza war to remain⁣ in power and has announced an upcoming security cabinet meeting.

According‌ to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Israeli Prime ⁢Minister​ Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that despite domestic ‌protests and increasing pressure over famine and hunger⁣ in Gaza ⁣amid a severe blockade, a security cabinet ‌meeting will be held this‍ week to direct the army toward achieving war ⁣objectives.

After 668 days of conflict,Netanyahu once again⁢ spoke about‍ fulfilling the‌ war’s goals,claiming that “defeating the enemy,freeing hostages,and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to israel” must​ be accomplished.

Netanyahu’s insistence on continuing the war comes as senior military‌ commanders-including the Chief⁣ of Staff-call for an end ‍to hostilities‌ and ⁤favor moving toward a​ prisoner exchange agreement. They warn‍ that a prolonged war poses⁢ serious risks‍ for Israel’s army.
