Kremlin: Putin Does Not Rule Out Meeting Zelensky

The Kremlin⁣ spokesperson stated ⁢that Putin does ​not rule out a ⁢meeting with Zelensky after necessary‌ preparatory work at the‍ expert⁤ level is completed.

According to the⁢ English section of webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Kremlin spokesperson dmitry Peskov saeid today that Russia remains committed to the‌ idea that a political and diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine issue is preferable.

The Kremlin spokesperson added, “A nuclear war⁤ woudl have no‌ winners. Moscow remains cautious⁣ about any ⁢statements regarding ⁢nuclear matters and⁢ believes ‍everyone ‍should ⁢exercise restraint in ⁣this regard.”

Peskov noted ‌that preparatory work for ​a⁤ meeting between Putin and zelensky has not yet‍ been ⁤completed. However,⁣ Putin does not ⁢rule⁢ out such a meeting once necessary expert-level arrangements are in ⁤place. He emphasized the importance⁤ of‍ U.S.efforts⁤ to ⁣mediate in ‍Ukraine,including facilitating direct negotiations between Russia‍ and Ukraine.

dmitry Peskov also stated that dialog between Moscow and Washington continues, ‍with the ⁣United States maintaining its ⁤mediation efforts concerning Ukraine.
