Demonstrations Erupt in Tel Aviv Against Netanyahu’s Plan for Full Gaza Occupation
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Shehab news agency via Mehr News Agency, thousands of Israeli settlers demonstrated in Tel Aviv to express their opposition to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan for the full occupation of Gaza.
The protesters blocked a street in Tel Aviv,shouting that they would not allow Netanyahu to spill more Israeli soldiers’ and hostages’ blood through his “delusional” plans to occupy Gaza.
On Monday evening, August 4, 2024, Netanyahu announced his decision for a complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, including military operations targeting areas where hostages are held.
This proclamation comes amid widespread protests across various countries condemning Netanyahu’s ongoing crimes in Gaza and the mass killing of defenseless civilians. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military attacks have killed 61,020 people in the strip.
